Our Junior Boys Football team put on a display of champions to beat St. Canices School on Tuesday. Having made a strong start in an extremely tough game, Holy Trinity found themselves unlucky to go in 1-6 to 0-6 points down at half time. However, our boys came out roaring again after the break and put on a phenomenal display of football to take the game on a scoreline of 1-12 to 1-6. Holy Trinity had great performers in our defence with Jaydon, Evan, Conor, Cillian, Jack C and Harry proving hard to beat. These boys were organised excellently by Ben Corcoran who put in a stellar performance in the goal. We had great leaders in midfield with Alex Ryan and Rhys Curley driving the team forward for the whole game. Holy Trinity’s forwards were on fire in this game with Luis, Max, Jack L, Shane, James and Emmanuel all ensuring that our scoreboard kept ticking over. We made many changes over the field throughout the game, with many players playing multiple positions including; Noah, Jim, Tyler and Séan. These players had a huge impact on the game and ultimately made the difference in the end.
