Climate Action Week
Monday 11th-Friday 16th 2021
This is one of the most important themed weeks we hold here in Holy Trinity SNS. All the boys and girls from 3rd to 6th class have explored the subject of climate change. Here are some of the activities we got up to.
-Class Learning
Children explored learning materials in class explaining what climate change is, what is causing it and what we can do to help.
-COW Day: Cycle on Wednesday
A large number of children walk, cycle or scoot to school regularly. However, on COW day we could hardly believe the amount of bikes we saw parked outside school! Well done to everyone who took part 
-Climate Action Pledge
Children wrote down one simple change they are going to make to help take action against climate change. Check out some examples!
-Earth Hour 
Believe it or not we managed to survive one full hour on Thursday with ALL electronics in the school switched off. Some classes got stuck into hands on activities in class while others made use of our outdoor classroom.
-Documentaries
Classes watched age appropriate footage of climate change in action in our world.
