A sharp-shooting display in Drumnigh on Thursday afternoon saw our senior boys’ team power their way into the shield quarter final. After a slow start, the Trinity men found their rhythm and began to take control against a hard-battling Holy Spirit Ballymun side.
Solid displays in defence from players such as Mark Kenneally and Nathan Latchford paved the way for our talented forwards to shine. Captain Eoin Kiernan was one such player who knew where the posts were on the day, and along with his fine point and goal-taking, showed some excellent vision to find teammates around him.
Scott Ramsey, Eoin Abernethey and Ross Tierney were on fire, while the tireless work of Brian Cooney at midfield gave the team a strong engine throughout.
In truth, however, this was a team performance and each member played their part in booking a home quarter final for the boys of Donaghmede. Well done to all involved!
Who are we? TRINITY!!
