Dubs Day 2017

By | 15th September 2017

Today was Dubs Day at Holy Trinity Senior School and what a day it was! With the All-Ireland Football Final coming up on Sunday, spirits were high this week. Everyone made a special effort to wear their county colours to school today. The yard was a beautiful sea of blue as you can see.

Spórt agus spraoi sa chlós!

DJ Mono delighted us with some sweet tunes out in the yard

All smiles on Dubs Day

The children have been busy creating Dublin themed artwork and poetry in the lead up to Dubs Day.

Poem by Anna Foley from 4th Class

Dublin are the very best

They will beat all the rest.

Everyone will be there

I wonder what I should wear.

I wore a blue hat and skirt

I saw the ball hit the dirt.

I had some chips in a bowl

and then I saw Dublin score a goal!
