Holy Trinity Arts Day 2020

Prize Winners

“Creativity takes courage” -Henri Matisse

A big thank you again to all the boys and girls who sent in photos and videos for Arts Week Online; it was really nice for the teachers to see some more of the creative work you’ve been getting up to at home. Some entries can still be seen on the school’s Facebook page and the rest will be displayed on our School Lobby TV when we return; some of our artists would rather their work was kept private and that’s fine too.

It would be impossible to make a decision on who deserves to win a prize (as every entry was fantastic) so we chose to put all the names into a hat and asked an independent observer (my neighbour Joe) to pick out three lucky names.

Drum roll………And the winning artists are………

Isabelle O’Meara from Mr. Henry’s Class (Stand aside Stella McCartney there’s a new fashion designer in town), Calum Teeling from Ms Monaghan’s Class (Star Wars and Tiger King inspired sketches that are out of this world) and Ava Hand from Mr O’Grady’s Class (you’ve heard of Beethoven, Chopin and Rachmaninoff, well here’s another name to add to the list of piano greats).

Big congratulations to you all and thanks again to everyone who sent something in, we really appreciate you taking the time to create and share something special with us (we’ve tried to acknowledge everyone involved below, apologies if we missed your name). Prizes will be on their way as soon as possible.
