My name is Mario. you know, from SUPER MARIO BROS!! When I was young I, like anyone else, attended school. In fifth class there was a bully called Bowser (also from my game). He bullied me during every break and, to make things worse, he was in my CLASS! And to make things even worse than that, he sat beside me.
He would poke me and it would make me scribble. He would tell on me if i even touched him. It drove me crazy. However, one day Bowser seemed extra grouchy but nobody knew why. After lunch we went out to yard. Bowser was talking to his best friend Wario (he’s my cousin). Bowser whispered, looked at me and smirked. He and Wario casually walked over to me and said, “Hey! Why are you looking at me?”
I started to panic. i could feel the sweat forming on my head.
“Urm…I wasn’t looking at…at…at you,” I trembled as I spoke.
“Wario!” Bowser barked in a deep voice. “I think this little guy is looking for trouble.”
I was so scared I almost got sick. I can’t tell you for sure because Bowser punched me in the mouth. When I woke back up I was lying in the middle of the yard with lots of people standing around me. I was face-down on the cobblestoned ground. When I tried to lift my head I could feel something rolling around in my mouth. SPAT! It was a TOOTH.
I didn’t even care that I was struggling to get up. I spent the rest of the day staring admiringly at the tooth; not that it was pretty or anything, but who was going to come… The Tooth Fairy! Just thinking about it made me jiggily. It wasn’t even the money I liked. She is just so pretty.
After school was over, I think I bumped into at least three people on the way home. At about eight o’clock I went to bed. I carefully placed the tooth under my pillow. I didn’t sleep very well that night.
As soon as I woke up I looked under my pillow. There was no money there, only an autographed picture of her. The picture told me something – that I should stand up to Bowser. So that is what I would do.
Later that day Bowser was poking me again. So I got up, marched to the teacher and said, “Excuse me, Bowser keeps poking me.” Suddenly I felt a chill go down my spine. That was a BIG mistake! Since it was lunchtime, I decided to go out to yard early. Who did as well? BOWSER!!
And of course, bet you can’t guess who is visiting again…
