Colouring pencils/markers/ crayons
- Begin by writing your name in big writing in the centre of the page in black, for e.g. Martin
- Assign a colour to each of the following categories:
- Blue= Books/ Authors I like
- Orange= Sports and teams I like
- Red= People I look up to
- Green= Foods I enjoy eating
- Yellow= Family members and pets
- Purple= Hobbies I enjoy
Continue to assign colours for any other categories you can think of and keep a list of what colour equals what category.
- Take a letter from your name , for e.g. “n” in Martin.
Now use your blue marker to write in a book you like that has “n” in its title, for e.g. Goodnight Mister Tom and Attach the title onto the “n” in Martin.
- Continue to add in more books and authors in your blue marker.
Repeat this process until your page is bursting with your likes and interests.
