This year in Holy Trinity we were making steps towards gaining our Green School’s Biodiversity Flag. Biodiversity looks at steps which can be taken in schools to increase awareness of the importance of native plants, animals and habitats, and to increase species-richness in a locality. Biodiversity encompasses all the important issues of the planet in one. It is relevant and interesting; our children are innately fascinated by the world around them and this makes it such an important topic for or school to explore.
