05/05/2020 School Closure Arts Day 2020

By | 5th May 2020

We decided we couldn’t let a pandemic get in the way of this year’s Arts Day. For those of you in 3rd class, Arts Day is a really fun opportunity to experience and discover lots of different elements of the Arts. Over the years we’ve looked at puppetry, circus skills, poetry, music, songwriting, wood carving, comedy, dance, comic design and many, many other fun and exciting crafts.

This year we want you to send us a clip or picture of something artistic that you’re proud of. Maybe you’ve been using some of your time at home to practice an artistic skill; now’s your time to show off your hard work. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been practicing for years or if you are new to this talent, we want to see it. Make sure you get permission from a grown-up before you send anything in and if you like you can get the grown-ups involved too (Do you have a Granny who can juggle or a mammy who can sing while standing on her head? Send us a clip, everyone’s welcome, even the teachers☺).
