We are so glad to be back in school and working towards our 5th Green Schools flag for Biodiversity. Over the past 2 years, we have been learning about Biodiversity and the important role it plays on our planet. We have also explored the threats to Biodiversity and what role we can all play in helping Biodiversity.
As part of our work to create awareness in our school, we had a competition for creating a Green Code for Biodiversity before the Christmas break. Here, we had to come up with a catchy slogan to spread our message on the importance of Biodiversity.
Well done to our winner, Megan Towell in 5th class, for her fantastic submission “From the wolves on the land to the whales in the sea, we all need Biodiversity”.
