Internet safety is learning how to be safe online.
Today in Holy Trinity a lady came to tell every child about internet safety.
She taught us how to balance being on the computer and doing other things.
For example, she suggested to write different activities on lollipop sticks. Put a timer on for an hour while you are online. After the hour, put the lollipop
sticks in a bowl and pick one out and do that activity – baking, playing with your friends, reading a book, walking your dog or playing a board game.
She suggested that after five hours of non-screen time you can earn an hour of screen time.
We learned that if you have a social media account put it on private. This means only your friends could see it. This means strangers can’t see what you’re doing.
